Summary
Current tokenized carbon creates a unique ERC-20 token for each project and vintage of the underlying carbon credit bridged. These credits can then be pooled. If the underlying properties of tokenized carbon meet the criteria of a carbon pool, they should be able to deposit and redeem between different bridges
Motivation
With the pause in bridging activity that has been in place since May 2022, there have been inefficiencies introduced to the market from the inability to pool and price like carbon tokens between bridges.
As the tokenization consultation reaches conclusion, and with previous RFCs showing desire to create more specific pools, allowing trusted 3rd party bridges to pool with C3Ts makes sense.
Proposal
Periodically whitelist all TCO2 tokens that match the current criteria for a C3 pool to be deposited and redeemed within the pool.
